Procurement of new or replacement systems is not as straight forward as it should be. WCS provides a
variety of services associated with the procurement process that will reduce your overall cost to
purchase, make more effective use of your resources and ensure your process is effective. Some of these
areas are:

Planning the Procurement Process - While most organizations have a process for procurements in place,
too often the process is not properly planned and structured due to internal resource limitations and
staff inexperience in the specific product areas. WCS will help to ensure that all aspects and phases of
the process are thoroughly addressed, identifying your resource requirements, the actual cost to do the
procurement, reasonableness of timelines, selection criteria, the approval process, type of purchase
(e.g., RFP), identifying and qualifying vendors to include and so on.

Request for Proposals - Structure, Content & Evaluation Metrics. RFPs can be very bulky, way too
detailed, difficult for the vendors to really understand the requirements and difficult for you to properly
evaluate. WCS will help to reduce the complexity while ensuring you provide the information vendors
needs to make a quality proposal to meet your business requirements and that information will be
structured in a way to allow your team to evaluate it quickly and accurately.

Managing Vendors during the Procurement - Communications with prospective vendors can be very time
consuming and inefficient for your staff during the procurement cycle. WCS will establish and maintain
the communication between vendors and your staff, ensure that all vendors are treated equally and have
access to the same information, and arrange the necessary calls, meeting and follow ups with vendors.
The result is a significant time savings for your staff during the procurement while making sure all
relevant information from each vendor is given its due consideration during the evaluation process.
